This lovely apple gourd is by Diane Wilson Kemp! Diane writes in her post, "SCHOOLHOUSE APPLE GOURD is so cute. It has a rose vine growing around the door and the ruler shutter around the window with three books showing through. A worm hole at the top with a graduating worm peaking out. The words TEACHER'S ARE SPECIAL on one side and ABC on the other. I put silk leaves on the top with a yellow ruler bow and a little red wooden apple in the middle. CHEDDAR my signature mouse is on the back. I have hand brushed two coats of protective varnish and attached my personal hang tag with interesting information about the gourd.
