Each Craft-Ready Gourd Lamp comes with the hole pre-drilled in the bottom to make your gourd fit snugly over the base so light does not seep through. We custom order the included LED bulb, which is very small yet produces extremely bright light, yet still has a tiny heat output so as not to cause fire danger.
The gourds are completely cleaned inside and out, and cut on the top so that light can shine upwards as well as through your designs on the body of the gourd.
The base provides the lamp with stability and is hidden from view so as not to take away from your beautiful lamp design!
