For January through November: You may return most unused items purchased at Welburn Gourd Farm , Inc. within 30 days of purchase.

We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or if the return is a result of an error on our part.

If the item is returned for any other reason , you are responsible for the return shipping costs and may be charged a restocking fee of 7 percent.

No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization (RMA). To get a RMA call our office at 1-760-728-4271.

We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 7 days of receiving the returned item. Any product advertised as non-returnable may not be returned .

Manufacturers Warranty

Products under a Manufacturer Warranty that are defective or malfunction need to be returned to the address provided in the Warranty Paper Work, which is shipped with the product.

  • Formula 49 works wonders to remove the sticky residue and carbon buildup that is sometimes left on your gourd after woodburning Stick 'n Burn.
  • Formula 49 can be applied as a base coat to condition the gourd shell so that Ink Dyes go on with smooth, even color and blend easily.
  • Formula 49 can also be used for diluting or lightening colors, and to blend Ink Dye colors together so that you get a smooth transition from one color to the next! And that's not all!
  • Made a mistake? Formula 49 will almost completely remove the Ink Dye. Use a piece of Felt or Microbrush with a couple drops of Formula 49 and wipe over any color you want removed or lightened!
  • Formula 49 mixes beautifully with GourdMaster™ Pigment Powders to create a transparent shimmer with just a flash of color, great for things like painting dragonfly or fairy wings.

GourdMaster™ Formula 49 is a ‘must have’ item for gourders! Use it to dilute or lighten Ink Dye or Transparent Acrylic colors or even to remove the colors if you’ve made a mistake! (Also great for removing old leather dye!). Formula 49 is also perfect for blending colors together for a smooth transition from one color to the next.

Formula 49 is also the perfect solution for gourds with dry shells! Due to the nature of gourd shells, colors may come out considerably darker than desired and may leave streaks and splotches. (For the best and most vibrant color results, make sure your shell is properly conditioned and semi-dry using a heating tool before applying colors.)
