Formerly known as Gourd Festival, Gourd Art & Harvest Days is Welburn Gourd Farm's annual celebration of gourd art, creativity, community and the fall harvest.

Join us September 23–27, 2026, in Fallbrook, California for hands-on gourd art classes, workshops, artist demonstrations, vendors, the California Gourd Society Gourd Art Competition, pumpkins, flowers and more.

Join us for an event where culture, creativity and community come together. This is a celebration of gourds, art, hands-on classes, and the start of fall with our pumpkin and sunflower harvests.

Gourd Art Competition

Join us for the 2026 Gourd Art Competition where artists of all skill levels can showcase their creative talents! With multiple divisions and opportunities for Youth through Grand Master, your artistic vision could earn recognition at one of the premier gourd art events in California.

Entries will be taken at the CGS Competition booth at the Farm all day on Wednesday. And on Thursday, from 8 - 9 a.m. Late entries will not be judged.

Entry Fees

  • $7(CGS members) | $10 (non-members) - if registered by Sept. 16
  • $10 (members) | $15 (non-members) - late entries after Sept. 16
  • Free for youth (form still required)

  • Entry: Free
  • Event Hours: Saturday, September 26 9am-5pm
  • Parking: $5.00
  • Weather: Rain or shine! September is typically sunny and in the 80s, so plan accordingly!
  • What to wear: Closed-toe shoes recommended since we're on flat dirt.
  • Food: Vendors on site. If you has dietary restrictions, we do recommend you pack a snack since we are located 35 minutes from the nearest town.
  • Payment: Cash or card accepted for all Welburn Farms stations and parking. Some vendors may be cash only.
  • Dogs: Allowed on leash. Service animals welcome! The only off-limits location is our sectioned-off organic Gathering Garden.
  • Accessibility: Grounds are packed dirt; wheelchairs navigate well.
  • Classes: Please check the class section for age restrictions.
