Gourd Festival 2025 Class
Date + Time: May 22nd, 1pm-5pm

In this class you will learn how to condition your gourd with Welburn formula 49. Then the hardest part of the class will be which Welburn stick-in-burns you want to use and learn the technique of applying them properly to your gourd. Later you will learn the technique to blend Welburn alcohol inks to create a beautiful art piece. Next, we will learn how to attach your gourd to a wood base. Learning how to use sandpapers will open your eyes to new techniques. If you have never used pine needles this is your chance to learn this weaving technique to complete your beautiful art piece.

Due to our rural location, we recommend that you pack a snack or a small lunch to keep your creative energy flowing! Our store will have some limited snacks available for purchase if needed.
