Every Welburn Gourd is naturally grown, making each one unique. We grade our gourds based on structural integrity and workable surface. Not shell color.

These little rounds are endlessly versatile. Pile them into a bowl or pedestal dish for an easy, textural centerpiece, or drill and string them into a rustic garland for a mantel, doorway, or wreath.
(Tip: if you're drilling for a garland, drill through the sides rather than through the stem end or blossom end — those spots are more prone to cracking.)
Left natural, these gourds keep their authentic, earthy, waxy finish straight off the vine. Want a different look? Soak them in water for about 15 minutes, then scrub with one of our gourd scrubbies for a cleaner, lighter shell , or apply a coat of varnish for a glossy, polished finish.
