Lovely gourd bowl by Diane Wilson Kemp! Diane, writes in her post, "AUTUMN OVERNIGHT BOWL this is a sweet little hand painted gourd bowl. It is 1/2" thick from Welburn Gourd Farm, a beautiful little gourd. I first painted a green crackle technic over the bowl and then painted the cutest group of pumpkins around the bowl, it is a sweet pattern called "AUTUMN OVERNIGHT" Mama gourd has very sleepy eyes as all the little gourds are bright eyed and wide awake for the sleepover. The painted gourds wrap around the little bowl and CHEDDAR my signature mouse is on the back. Underneath the pumpkins are the words AUTUMN OVERNIGHT. You cannot put liquid inside this bowl, I would suggest maybe some wrapped candy or a little dried flower arrangement, it is beautiful just the way it is. I hand brushed two coats of protective varnish and a cute gold rhinestone. I add my personal hang tag with interesting information about the gourd." Price $25. Let me say, I was happy when I went from a Dremel to the Proxxon. But there is a night and day difference with the Pro Carver! The hand piece fits my hand so much better, it’s lighter and I can barely feel the vibration!! After carving a couple hours with the Proxxon, my hand ends up tingling afterwards. I don’t anticipate that happening with the ProCarver based on what I just felt. Halllelujah! My hand, joints and titanium shoulder are going to be sooo happy!
