We will learn to continuous coil around an irregular shaped center. As we go, we will use beads to fill in spaces to ultimately end up with a round lid. Part two of the lid is to attach a lip.
Day two we will be creating the pine needle coil on the rim of the gourd to match the lid. Detailed tutorials will help you with this project as well.
About the Instructor: Vickie Echols has been traveling around the country as her full-time job since 2012 and is inspired by her students. She loves questions and challenges from her students. It helps her to create new projects where she incorporates natural embellishments into her pine needle coiling such as seashells, black walnut slices and lots of beads!
