These Standard Tall-Body gourds are a great addition to your collection if you don’t mind a few imperfections, or if you love a gourd with character. They may have small cracks, scarring, and other shell blemishes that make each gourd unique. They’re great for carving, and gourders often turn them into vases, figurines, lamps, and more.
Tall-Body gourds have a body that is taller than it is wide, which makes them a perfect choice for vases and artwork that need a taller, more vertical surface.
Our gourds are known for their lovely natural markings. These are not considered shell blemishes and are part of the natural beauty of the gourd. Gourds are measured by the distance in inches at the widest point across, never by height, and Tall-Body gourds may have a round bottom. A Metal Gourd Stand helps display them.
For Pre-Boxed gourds, refunds are given on the entire box, not individual gourds. Photos are a general representation of the gourds you will receive.
Every Welburn Gourd is naturally grown, making each one unique. We grade our gourds based on structural integrity and workable surface. Not shell color.
