Letters from Customers

"I had been a watercolor painter for 30 years and needed a bit of a change. So I took up wood carving. I did that for several years and enjoyed the challenge but missed the joy of using color.

Then I came to Welburn Gourd Farm just as an outing. I bought a few dyes and a few gourds. Then I came back two weeks later. I bought more gourds and a few more dyes. I was enjoying myself! Then I took a big step and bought a Pro-carver!
That was it. I found a craft that allows me to utilize my previous skills of watercolor painting and wood carving at the same time. I've got to admit it, I'm hooked. Thank You , Welburn!" -Terry Thiesen

"...Working on gourds is the most relaxing hobby I've ever had and just touching a gourd brings me a peacefulness I cannot describe. When I visited your farm in February and really liked seeing your place. Wish I lived closer! I'll be back!" - Thanks, Linda Flener

"Love the Formula 49... the fact that it will almost completely remove ink dye is a reason alone to call it a great product, not to mention how well it works to blend the inks. I just wish it came in a bigger bottle!" -Gloria Crane, Gourd Artist and Instructor
