The 2.75" base size is ideal for gourds 5"- 9" in diameter. The smaller 1.8" base size is deal for gourds 2"- 6" in diameter. Both sizes include base, lamp cord with on/off switch, and custom-made LED bulb. Pack of 3, Just $39.95!
The base has a notch in it to hold the cord and will fit snugly into a 2.5" hole in your gourd. It is designed to be almost completely covered by the gourd so as not to distract from the art piece.

Let me say, I was happy when I went from a Dremel to the Proxxon. But there is a night and day difference with the Pro Carver! The hand piece fits my hand so much better, it’s lighter and I can barely feel the vibration!! After carving a couple hours with the Proxxon, my hand ends up tingling afterwards.
