GourdMaster™ Protecting Wax gives a high-performance natural finish. It is easy to apply and provides beautiful, durable protection for your artwork.
After woodburning and coloring your gourd, apply Protecting Wax with a soft rag or felt piece. Let it air dry for a couple of minutes, then buff with a cloth for a natural looking finish.
Protecting Wax can also be mixed with the GourdMaster™ line of ink dye or transparent acrylic to color the wax before using it as a finish. The possibilities are endless!
Above: Not only is Protecting Wax a great finish over GourdMasterTM Ink Dye and Transparent Acrylic, it can also be used to bring back the luster on dry gourds as shown above (gourd in back has no wax, gourd in front after wax was applied).
